HCEA needs a 2011 Annual Meeting Theme and Logo, and we want your help! Please be sure your submission includes both a theme and logo.
 
THEME: The short, catchy theme should capture the uniqueness of an HCEA Annual Meeting. It may (but is not required to) include a direct or indirect reference to the meeting’s location (Las Vegas), exhibiting in general and healthcare exhibiting specifically.

Recent examples of annual meeting themes include: “Big Challenge. Big Opportunity. Big Easy.” (2010 – New Orleans); “Waves of Change” (2009 – Tampa); “Reach for the Top” (2008 – Salt Lake City); “Discover Your Keys to Success” (2007 – Philadelphia); “An Ocean of Discovery” (2006-Ft. Lauderdale); and “Unmask Your Potential” (2005-New Orleans).
 
LOGO: The logo should capture visually the spirit of the meeting. Designs can be one or two colors for stationery, program layouts, and signs (with a four-color option for advertisements, Web site, program book and meeting signs). Four-color logos should be functional when reproduced in black and white.

The logo should be readable when reduced to fit in small electronic and print format (less than 1 sq. inch or 200x200 pixels). The winning logo designer will be asked to provide both a fully worded design treatment as well as a graphic-only design treatment.

Final logo art must be usable on an IBM PC and submitted as a vector-based EPS file. Only electronic submissions will be accepted. Each member company is limited to no more than three entries. The logo must include:

The organization submitting the logo that best conveys the essence of the HCEA Annual Meeting will be recognized in several ways including acknowledgment in HCEA Edge and at the 2011 Annual Meeting.
 
Please submit a limit of three logo designs no later than Friday, August 20, 2010, (PLEASE NOTE, THERE CAN BE NO EXTENSIONS). Concepts should include suggested colors or an indication of suggested colors.
