Dr. Minnie Baylor-Henry to Open HCEA'S 2007 Summit, January 27, in Philadelphia

ATLANTA -- HCEA's 2005 Healthcare Exhibit Marketing Summit will start off with a keynote address about regulatory compliance in healthcare exhibit halls by Minnie Baylor-Henry, RPh, JD, Vice President, Medical and Regulatory Affairs, McNeil Consumer & Specialty Pharma. Dr. Baylor-Henry, who served as the Director of the Division of Drug Marketing, Advertising and Communications (DDMAC) of the Food and Drug Administration from 1995 to 1999, has spoken at a number of HCEA meetings in the past.

The Summit, to be held January 27 at the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown, will also feature the following sessions:

  • Strategic Industry Audit: How Pharma Companies Stack Up Against Each Other Presented by Dr. William Trombetta, Professor of Pharmaceutical Marketing, St. Joseph's University This presentation will offer a high-level perspective on how pharma companies match up to each other in terms of R&D spending vs. sales, percent of revenues from new products, domestic sales per representative and other metrics.
  • Getting Attendees into the Exhibit Hall: Association Perspective A panel of healthcare association experts will present ideas and proven techniques for attracting healthcare convention attendees to the exhibit hall. Presented by Barbara Charbonneau, Senior Manager, Exhibits, American Heart Association; Jane Conway, Sales Specialist, American Urological Association; Kerry Durgin, Senior Sales Executive, Pri-Med Communications; and Jane Lears, Manager, American Urological Association
  • More sessions will be announced as they are added.

The meeting will be held at the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown.
