ATLANTA — The Healthcare Convention & Exhibitors Association (HCEA) announced its officers and directors at the 2010 HCEA Annual Meeting, June 26–29, in New Orleans.  Karen Kingston, CME/H, CMP, B. Braun Medical, Inc., was inducted as President.

Other 2010-2011 Board officers are:

President Elect - Peggy Furman, Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corp.; Vice President - Susan Huff, Medtronic, Inc.; Treasurer - Riki Metzger-Ford, Merck; Secretary - Betsy Wadas, CME/H, Genentech; and Immediate Past President - Karen Prieto, Forest Laboratories, Inc.

The association’s 2010-2012 directors are: 

Catherine Brozena, Johnson & Johnson Health Care Systems; Everton Cranston, Pfizer, Inc.; Kimberly Foley, Philips Healthcare; Janie Ward, CME/H, Abbott; and Susan Weatherbee, Boston Scientific.

The association’s 2010-2011 directors are:
