ATLANTA — A team of healthcare marketing compliance experts will present a key educational feature of the 2011 Healthcare Convention & Exhibitors Association (HCEA) Healthcare Convention Marketing Summit. The Summit will be held January 20, 2011, at the Gaylord National Hotel & Convention Center near Washington, DC. In addition to the team of compliance specialists, HCEA recently added new sessions highlighting a discussion of promotional policy led by a representative from the Office of Compliance, Center for Devices and Radiological Health (CDRH), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and an overview of a unique method for measuring the real value of face-to-face meetings.

In addition, HCEA is adding other Summit sessions including a forum for open conversation between healthcare convention marketers and exhibitors and industry suppliers, and an inside perspective on global exhibiting. These new sessions will join an already top-notch program that includes a keynote address that will emphasize how industry-healthcare education collaboration has contributed significantly to the advancement of medicine; a Summit version of HCEA’s popular Association-Only Roundtable; an updated forecast of how industry, compliance and economic developments are expected to impact the healthcare convention marketing industry in 2011; and a case study of the strategic planning process one healthcare society underwent to revitalize its exhibit hall.
