ATLANTA - A new online tool for healthcare associations to evaluate their prospectus is available from the Healthcare Convention and Exhibitors Association (HCEA). The newly-developed self-diagnostic Online Prospectus Checklist is available at www.hcea.org.
Based on HCEA's Guidelines, the checklist contains an outline of subjects and information that should be included in an exhibition prospectus. Each item is linked to the relevant portion of the HCEA Guidelines for Healthcare Conventions, which contain advice and helpful verbiage that associations can draw on for use in their own prospectuses. The automatic checklist mechanism can then deliver a report via e-mail summarizing the items the user indicated as missing from their organization's prospectus.
"This new online tool lets healthcare association exhibition managers check to see if they're giving exhibitors everything they need to decide on participating in the meeting," says HCEA Executive Director, Eric Allen. "All of the information from HCEA's extensive Guidelines for Healthcare Conventions is itemized in a hyperlink format."
Because the extent to which a healthcare association's exhibition prospectus is thorough and complete can greatly impact the quality and quantity of exhibitors at that association's conventions, HCEA developed this tool as an aid to convention organizers.
