August 2, 2016 – The Healthcare Convention & Exhibitors Association (HCEA) has announced the closing speaker for HCEAConnect, the association’s annual educational and networking event, being held August 14-17, 2016 in Savannah, GA. Brian Casey, President and CEO of the Center for Exhibition Industry Research (CEIR) will share with HCEAConnect’s hundreds of attendees the latest healthcare exposition trends including attendance, exhibits and space costs.
Casey services as President and CEO of CEIR, which provides industry-leading research on the North American exhibitions and events industry. CEIR houses the world’s largest collection of primary, exhibition-related research studies that help stakeholders optimize performance, increase engagement, and address emerging customer needs. Prior to joining CEIR, Casey served as Vice President & General Manager for the Cleveland Global Center for Health Innovation & Convention and was responsible for operations, sales and marketing functions for the convention center facility. With more than 30 years of experience in the exhibitions and meetings industry, Casey has served as President and CEO of the High Point Authority, Owner of Next Generation Events Group, and Managing Director of Trade Shows for the International Housewares Exposition.
