Who We Are
Founded in 1930, the Healthcare Convention & Exhibitors Association (HCEA) is a nonprofit trade association representing organizations united by a shared commitment to advancing the effectiveness and quality of healthcare conventions and exhibitions as educational and marketing platforms.
In 2020, our Executive Committee transitioned HCEA to a fully volunteer-led operating model to protect the association’s financial viability through the pandemic.
With that foundation secured, restoring dedicated association management support is a top priority for 2026—strengthening HCEA’s infrastructure, expanding member value, and positioning the organization for sustainable growth. Throughout this evolution, HCEA remains an organization shaped by, driven by, and accountable to its members.
